Project Brief:

Government of Andhra Pradesh envisages having a Port-led economic and industrial development in the state. The state’s coastal developmental plans are being aligned with the prestigious Sagarmala project announced by the Central Government. This project is an endeavor towards achieving the same.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) for selection of Technical Consultant for preparation of Techno-Economic Feasibility Report for Ramayapatnam was issued by INCAP in February 2015. 4 responses were received and M/s. RITES has been selected for conducting Techno-Economic Feasibility Studies for the port. The studies are expected to be completed in November 2015, after which developer selection process will be initiated
